Food and Beverages: Arrangements for food and beverage service can be made by using our online ordering system Ravenscroft-Flik Catering Website. Or, by calling us at 919-847-0900 ext 2237.
Guarantee: An estimated guest count is required at the time that services are scheduled. A final guaranteed count must be provided at least three business days prior to the event. You will be billed for the guaranteed number or the actual guest count, whichever is higher.
Payment Policy: A Budget Code Number is preferred when booking a catering event.
Delivery: There is no charge for an on campus event, however for off campus events $40.00 will be added to invoices for services.
Pricing: All prices in the brochure are a guideline, and are subject to change. We will contact you should there be a change.
Cancellations: Please let us know ASAP if your event will be cancelled so we can plan accordingly.
Food Quantities: A well planned event is a successful event. To make sure your event is successful it is essential that you have an accurate guest count, and report it to Dining Services. Credit for unused portions including bottled beverages, juices, whole fruit, yogurt, etc. will not be given. Therefore, an accurate guest count will keep you from paying for items that were not required by your guests.
Perishable Food Policy: In adherence with local Health Department regulations, it is our strict policy that there will be no carry out of perishable food not consumed at your event. Any food removed from the location of the event without the permission of Dining Services becomes the responsibility of the event holder. Once removed from the event, Dining Services possesses no responsibility or liability for the quality or safety of these items.
Service Ware: At no time should service ware be removed from the original location of the event without the permission of Dining Services. Items removed must be returned within three business days or a rental charge will be assessed. Event holders who fail to return service ware for extended periods of time may be liable for full replacement cost of these items.
Late Order Availability: To ensure the quality of your event, Dining Services must have sufficient time to procure food and service personnel. Sufficient notification is defined as at least three business days prior for meals and at least two business days prior for refreshment setups. Three days does not include the date you enter your order. For example, you place an order on Monday for a Thursday event. Please contact us directly should you need last minute services.
Linen and China Rental: Should you need linen for the tables at your event, these can be provided at an additional charge depending on table size. Disposable service ware is included in the current pricing of all meals. You may upgrade to china for $3.50 per person.
Special Dietary Considerations: Adjustments to menus can be made to accommodate special dietary needs. Please let us know ASAP if there are any special meals or allergies so we can accommodate accordingly.
Labor: Labor charge will be included for events schedule: during non-operating days, before 7am and after 3pm on operating days.

Special Menu Requests: Should you require a customized menu, let us know. Our Dining Service Staff will work with you to handle the arrangements. Please allow a minimum of two weeks to insure the availability of your special requests.
